Who we are and scope

Good Things Go is operated by Agile Apps LLC, a Delaware limited liability company in the United States. In this policy, “Good Things Go,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Agile Apps LLC.

This policy applies to goodthingsgo.com, gtg.sale, and the Good Things Go marketplace service. The service is intended only for people located in the United States.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Seller account information. Email address, display name, account identifier, authentication records, session information, and related security data.
  • Sale and listing content. Seller name, sale title and description, approximate location, moving date, pickup notes, item titles and descriptions, prices, condition, category, product links, and photos.
  • Buyer offer information. Name, email address or phone number, offer amount, optional message, submission time, legal notice versions, and offer status.
  • Research and AI information. Product names or URLs, item condition, approximate sale location, product candidates and pricing comparisons, and listing text sent for optional description improvement.
  • Technical information. IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, request and error information, and cookie or session identifiers needed to operate and secure the service.
  • Communications. Information you include when contacting us for support or a privacy request.

We receive information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, from the seller or buyer with whom you interact, and from product-research sources and service providers.

What is public and private

A seller controls when a sale page and listing are published. Published pages are unlisted but accessible to anyone who has the link. Public content can include the seller-chosen name, approximate location, moving-date information, pickup notes, listing details, prices, product links, and photos. An unlisted link is not a security control, so sellers should share only information they are comfortable making available to link holders.

Buyer offers are private. We make a buyer’s contact information, amount, and message available to the seller of the relevant item so that the seller can respond and coordinate the potential transaction. Good Things Go personnel may access this information when reasonably necessary for support, safety, abuse prevention, security, or legal compliance.

Exact pickup arrangements and payment happen directly between the buyer and seller. Good Things Go does not process those payments.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • create and authenticate seller accounts;
  • create, store, publish, and manage sales and listings;
  • deliver private buyer offers to the relevant seller;
  • provide optional product research and description assistance;
  • operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the service;
  • measure aggregate use and performance;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • respond to support and privacy requests; and
  • comply with law and protect our users, rights, and property.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information in these circumstances:

  • At your direction. Seller-selected content is disclosed through published sale pages, and buyer offer information is disclosed to the relevant seller.
  • Service providers. Vendors process information for hosting, storage, authentication, transactional email, analytics, product research, and optional AI assistance. These include Vercel, Neon, Anthropic, Firecrawl, and DataForSEO. Their subprocessors may also process information when needed to provide those services.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law or legal process; protect safety, rights, or property; or investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
  • Business transactions. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, use it for targeted advertising, or use it to make decisions based solely on profiling that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Service providers

Vercel hosts the application, delivers pages, provides private photo storage, and supplies analytics. Neon provides the database, seller authentication, and related authentication-email services. Learn more in the Vercel Privacy Notice (opens in a new tab) and Neon Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).

Sellers can optionally ask Good Things Go to research an item by product name or public URL. We send the search term or URL, item condition, and sometimes the sale’s approximate location to Firecrawl and DataForSEO to identify products and gather public pricing comparisons. Do not submit private, authenticated, or sensitive URLs.

Premium sellers can optionally ask Anthropic to improve listing text. The submitted listing title, description, and relevant item facts are sent to Anthropic to produce the requested result. We do not send buyer offer or contact information to these research and AI features.

These providers process information under their own service terms, retention practices, and our arrangements with them. Learn more in the providers’ notices: Firecrawl (opens in a new tab), DataForSEO (opens in a new tab), and Anthropic (opens in a new tab).

Cookies and analytics

Good Things Go uses cookies and similar local technologies that are necessary for seller authentication, session security, and core service functions. Disabling them may prevent seller sign-in or other protected features from working.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand page views, referrers, general location such as country or region, and browser or device categories. Vercel Web Analytics is a first-party, cookie-free analytics service and is not used to track you across unrelated websites. Vercel also processes network and request information to host and secure the service. Read the Vercel Privacy Notice (opens in a new tab).

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no uniform standard for that signal, Good Things Go does not respond to it. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, so browser-based opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control do not change how the service operates. We will honor such signals where required if our practices change.

How long we keep information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. The period depends on the nature of the information, whether an account or listing remains active, operational and security needs, and legal obligations.

In general, seller account information is kept while the account remains active; sale pages, listings, photos, and offers are kept while needed to provide and document the service; research jobs expire and may be retained for troubleshooting or service continuity; and limited logs may be retained for security, debugging, and fraud prevention. A user can request deletion by contacting us, subject to verification and lawful exceptions.

We may retain information longer when reasonably necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, or protect safety and security. Information may remain for a limited time in backups or provider systems before deletion or de-identification is completed. De-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to a person may be retained longer.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These include encrypted network connections, passwordless seller authentication, private photo storage, access controls, and ownership checks for seller data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use care when choosing what to submit or publish.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access to or a copy of personal information; correction; deletion; data portability; information about collection, use, and disclosure; or an appeal of a decision on a prior request. You may also have rights to opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling, and to limit certain uses of sensitive information. Good Things Go does not engage in those opt-out activities as described above.

To submit a request, email contact@agileappsllc.com. Please describe your request and whether you used the service as a seller or buyer. For a buyer request, include enough information for us to identify the relevant offer without sending unnecessary sensitive information. To appeal a decision, reply to our response or use the subject line “Privacy Appeal.”

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization or direct verification with the individual. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Age limit and sensitive information

Good Things Go is for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Do not submit or publish an exact pickup address, payment card or bank credentials, Social Security or government identification numbers, account passwords, health information, or other sensitive personal information. Use only a city or neighborhood on public sale pages and arrange exact pickup details directly with the other person when appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update its effective date. If a change is material, we may also provide a prominent notice through the service or contact account holders when appropriate.
